For the past seven months, I have
walked through the neighborhoods of
Severna Park, Brooklyn Park, Glen
Burnie, Millersville, and Pasadena.
I have met some of the nicest and
most hospitable people. Words
cannot describe my gratitude. It
truly would have been an honor to
represent every one of you.
I would also like to thank my
supporters, friends, and family for
their help during my campaign. I
sincerely appreciate your support
and faith in what my campaign
represented. I could not have asked
for a greater group of people to
work with.
We were the underdogs from the
beginning. There were several times
I felt overwhelmed with political
insiders pressuring me to quit
because I did not have the money or
the political connections to win.
However, it was never about winning
for me. It was about representing
something that politicians are in
dire need of, integrity. I wanted
to give the voters of my district an
opportunity to vote for an
individual who would actually put
the people first, not just use the
phrase as political rhetoric.
This is not over. I would say
"see you in 2010" but I intend to
become even more involved in the
community that I grew up in.
But yes, I will run again in 2010.
I have learned from my mistakes and
intend my second run to be a
stronger, more cohesive effort.
I also encourage you to visit this
webpage on a semi-daily basis.
We are going to be using this
website as a political clearing
house until it is time for the
campaign to start again.
